I'am having a problem connect to a network printer Canon i386 on a 2003 Server computer.Vista finds the printer on the network and installs the drivers and shows the printer connected but won't print the event report stated the printer registry key is corrupt or incorrect.Problem maybe the print drivers Xp 2003 driver can anyone advise. Lowgra

Connecting Network Pinter
It could well be the drivers. You may have the option to run it in compatibility mode, however if you have a Windows Server 2003 computer, you can set that up as a print server instead.

Okay now I'm interested. What Vista build number / version? Could you send the exact eventlog message content as well as the event number.
thanks

I'm having what looks to be the same problem with a Linksys Wireless WPS54G-U2 print server and a Cannon CLP-510
I'll see if I can find the exact error that you are looking for. It complains about being on a "hidden" desktop so I't might be hard to find

I cleared out the event logs then tried to print a test page. Maybe a driver? Samsung was clueless.
